PILOT, IN ONE SENTENCE
Pilot is an AI office for small businesses: you hire AI agents for sales, marketing, support and engineering, give them work in plain words, and approve anything they send before it goes out.
DEPARTMENTS
What does an AI agent do in its first week?
In its first week, an agent picks up the routine work of its department. Sales replies to new leads and follows up after calls. Marketing drafts the newsletter. Support answers the inbox. Engineering fixes a bug and opens a pull request. Operations writes the weekly report and chases unpaid invoices. Each one shows you its plan before it starts.
You hire agents into five departments. Give each one a job in plain words, the way you’d brief a new person on their first morning. Here’s what that looks like in practice.
| DEPARTMENT | FIRST-WEEK WORK | ASKS YOU BEFORE |
|---|---|---|
| Salese.g. Mia Laurent |
| Writing to anyone for the first time |
| Marketinge.g. Theo Brandt |
| Sending to more than 25 people, or posting anything |
| Supporte.g. Sofia Rossi |
| Replying to someone new, or anything that costs money, like a refund |
| Engineeringworks on your GitHub repo |
| Any change outside the pull request. You decide whether to merge. |
| Operationse.g. Ana Kovač |
| Sending each reminder, and deleting any record |
APPROVALS
Will an agent send anything without me?
No. Before anything leaves the business, the agent asks you. First contact with a new person, anything sent to more than 25 people, spending money, deleting data and anything that can’t be undone always comes to you as an approval card with the full draft. Reversible work happens at once, and you can undo it.
You read exactly what would go out, who it goes to and why now. Then you approve it, edit it first or tell the agent not to send it.

Plans come before work
Before a job starts, the agent lays out its plan step by step. Nothing begins until you’ve seen it.
SETUP · ABOUT 5 MINUTES
How does it work?
You describe your business in a few sentences. Pilot proposes an office: which agents to hire and what each one does first. You look it over, then approve the first plan. From there, the agent works and asks before anything goes out. Plan on about 5 minutes from sign-up to a first result.
Describe your business
Say what you sell, who buys it and which work keeps slipping. Plain words are fine.
YOU WRITE“We’re a print studio in Lyon, 6 people. New leads wait days for a reply, the support inbox is always behind and I chase invoices on Sunday nights.”Pilot proposes an office
It suggests agents by department and the first job for each one, based on what you wrote.
PILOT PROPOSES- Mia Laurent, Sales: reply to new leads
- Sofia Rossi, Support: answer the inbox
- Ana Kovač, Operations: chase unpaid invoices
Approve the first plan
The agent shows its plan before it starts. You approve it, and it gets to work.
MIA’S PLAN · 5 STEPS- Find new leads from the last 7 days with no reply
- Read what each one asked for
- Draft a reply to each one
- Ask you before writing to anyone new
- Send what you approve and log it
COMPARISON
How is this different from a chatbot or a freelancer?
A chatbot helps while you’re typing to it, and you still do the sending and the follow-up. A freelancer brings experience and judgment, billed hourly or per project, on their own schedule. Pilot agents do recurring work in your tools while you’re away, show a plan first, ask before anything goes out and log every step.
Each option has its place. A good freelancer is still the right call for a brand identity or a legal review. Pilot is for the recurring work that fills your week.

| Question | PILOT | A CHATBOT TAB | A FREELANCER | DOING IT YOURSELF |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Works while you’re away | Yes, on the jobs you’ve given it | Only while you’re in the chat | Yes, on their own schedule | No |
| Shows a plan before acting | Yes, before every job | If you ask for one | Depends on the person | The plan is in your head |
| Asks before anything goes out | Yes, with the full draft | You copy and send it yourself | If you agree on that upfront | You’re the one sending |
| Keeps a log of every step | Yes, in plain words | The chat history | Usually a summary or timesheet | Only if you write one |
| Knows your business over time | Builds on your setup, files and past work | Mostly what you paste in | Yes, if they stay with you | Yes |
| Cost to try | Free during early access | Free tiers and monthly plans | Hourly or per project | Your own time |

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is Pilot?
Pilot is an AI office for small businesses: you hire AI agents for sales, marketing, support and engineering, give them work in plain words, and approve anything they send before it goes out. It’s made for owners and operators of teams of 3 to 50 people, and it’s built by SDK Enterprises in France.
What is an AI agent for hire?
It’s an AI agent you bring into a department of your business, much like a new hire. You give it a job in plain words, such as following up with leads or answering the support inbox. It shows you a plan, does the work in your tools, logs every step and asks before anything leaves the business.
Will an agent send emails without asking me?
No. First contact with a new person, anything sent to more than 25 people, spending money, deleting data and anything that can’t be undone always comes to you as an approval card with the full draft. You can approve and send it, edit it first or decline. Reversible work happens at once, with an Undo button.
Which tools can agents connect to?
Today, agents connect to GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear, Vercel, Monday, Google Drive, Gmail and Google Calendar. Anything that changes something in another tool asks you first. The engineering agent works on your GitHub repository in an isolated sandbox, runs the tests and opens a pull request for you to review. You can also use Pilot from Claude or Cursor through its MCP server.
Where is my data stored?
On SDK Enterprises’ own servers in France, in the EU. Inside a workspace, each person’s conversations and files are private to them, so a colleague doesn’t see your conversations with an agent. Code work happens in an isolated sandbox, and changes in your connected tools always ask you first.
How much does Pilot cost?
Pilot is free during early access. Billing isn’t live yet, so there’s nothing to pay and no credit card to enter when you sign up. Plan on about 5 minutes to a first result: you describe your business, Pilot proposes an office of agents, and you approve the first plan.
Can I use Pilot in French or German?
Your agents can write in your customers’ language, so a reply to a client in Lyon goes out in French and one to a client in Munich in German. The app interface itself is in English today. More European languages are coming to the interface.
Who makes Pilot?
Pilot is made by SDK Enterprises, a company based in France. We build Pilot and run it on our own servers there, in the EU, so your workspace stays in France. Pilot is in early access today: it’s free to use, billing isn’t live yet and you don’t need a card to start.
